Step-by-Step Process

1. Secure a Job Offer

You must first get an official job offer or employment contract from a Turkish company.

2. Employer Applies for Work Permit

• The Turkish employer applies for your work permit through the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MoLSS)

• This also serves as your work visa approval

3. Apply for Work Visa at Turkish Embassy in India

Once the employer submits the work permit file, you must apply for a work visa at the Turkey Embassy/Consulate or authorized visa center in India.

Required Documents:

✔ Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
✔ Employment contract (signed by employer)
✔ Work permit reference number (from employer)
✔ Passport-size photos
✔ Visa application form
✔ Educational & experience certificates (if asked)
✔ Travel insurance (recommended)
✔ Flight reservation (optional at this stage)

4. Work Permit & Visa Approval

• The Turkish authorities process the work permit

• Once approved, your visa gets stamped on your passport

5. Travel to Turkey

After receiving the visa, you can travel to Turkey and begin your job.

6. Residence Permit Registration

Within 30 days of arrival, you must register for a Residence Permit (Ikamet) at the local immigration office. (Your employer usually assists)
