Armenia is becoming a popular destination for Indian professionals due to its fast-growing economy, affordable living, safe environment, and increasing job opportunities in IT, construction, hospitality, medical, and service sectors. Indian citizens must obtain a valid work visa and work permit to work legally in Armenia.

Main Requirements for Armenia Work Visa

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)

• Job offer letter or employment contract from an Armenian employer

• Work permit approval from Armenian authorities

• Passport-size photos

• Educational and experience documents (if required)

• Medical certificate (if requested)

• Travel insurance (recommended)

Step by step work process

1. Obtain a Job Offer

The process starts when you secure a job from a registered company in Armenia.

2. Employer Applies for Work Permit

• The employer submits your work permit application to the Armenian authorities (Ministry of Labor or Migration Department)

• Supporting documents are attached by the employer

3. Work Permit Approval

Once the work permit is approved, you become eligible to apply for a work visa at the Armenian Embassy or get Visa on Arrival (if applicable) based on approval.

4. Submit Visa Application

Documents normally submitted:

✔ Approved work permit or invitation letter
✔ Job/employment contract
✔ Passport photos
✔ Proof of accommodation
✔ Flight details (if requested)

5. Visa Processing & Approval

Visa processing generally takes 10–30 days, depending on the case.

6. Travel to Armenia

After visa approval, you can travel to Armenia and begin work as per your contract.

7. Apply for Temporary Residence Card (if needed)

For long-term work, applicants may need to apply for a Temporary Residence Permit once in Armenia.
